The working single mom

There will be many posts related to this title: 'The working single mom', but for today I want to share the need for the single mom to be the best employee your company ever hired.

First of all, it is important to be the best at what you do for a number of reasons.
1)  Power - People who are the best in their fields are in demand and have more choices
2) Ego - It is good to be the best and to know you are the best; makes you feel good about yourself
3) Money - people who are the best at what they do can demand a higher income
4) Valuable - your employer needs to have people on the team who strive to be the best, it makes them look good and increases the likelihood for success and profit
and finally...
5) Control of your life and flexibility in your work environment

How can you be the best employee your company ever hired? Be on time, dress for the job you want within the company, keep learning new things, keep track of your ideas and the impact they have on the company, be honest, never gossip, be a team player, be loyal to the managers and be employee willing to champion new policies and procedures. Although there is no 'I' in team, there is an 'I' in promotion so be willing to stand out, stand up and lead, lead, lead!!!
